Reflecting on
What greatly resembles
Given my
Sicilian heritage
Regal bearing
A Roman Emperor
Augustus perhaps
At the very least
A Senator
Maybe Cicero
Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam
I would orate
To Plebians in the Forum
The great unwashed
Restless rabble
Appeased by
Panem et circences
Like Commodus
I might entertain them
Fighting as a Gladiator
Always the winner
Feeling rather imperial
With considerable majesty
Still wet
Stood naked
Before Astrid
Striking an Augustan pose
A living god
Loved by Jupiter
Hail Caesar
Grand and commanding
Espoused my theory
