Hancock Shaker Dinner

Cider House Rules

By: - Jul 09, 2021

Artisanal cider maker Berkshire Cider Project for the last two years has been producing a fine, sparkling hard cider from heirloom apples gathered from Hancock Shaker Village's historic orchard. On July 28, please join us at 6PM for a special Cider Maker's Dinner to launch the 2020 vintage of BCP’s Hancock Shaker Village Hard Cider.
The al fresco evening will begin with a stroll and tasting in the orchard, then move onto a multi-course savory farm dinner, featuring craft cider pairings as well as remarks by the cider makers and our farmer about the cider and the apples. Berkshire Cider Project, located in nearby North Adams, produces fine, dry, hard cider that has the depth and complexity of wine. Committed to local sourcing, sustainability, and simplicity, BCP donates a portion of sales from this vintage back to Hancock Shaker Village to support the farm’s agricultural programming. Each of the three courses will be prepared by Chef Josh Kelly of Bimi’s Café and will be paired with a different craft cider. Tickets $85 ($75 for members).
