In conjunction with the exhibition Hallyu! The Korean Wave, which explores the worldwide impact of South Korean pop culture, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), presents films by some of the country's greatest auteurs. Hallyu Hits: Korean Films that Moved the World features a variety of cinema with unifying themes: tales of vengeance, romantic longing and obsession, class conflict and echoes of film noir:

Tickets for screenings are on sale now: $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. After showings, filmgoers are invited to explore Korean culture and history further in Hallyu! The Korean Wave. |
