Having wonderful fun til
Kathleen from Cork
Maid of the Kelleher clan
Sisters one after the other
Parading through our home
Like ersatz Ellis Island
Made fresh soda bread
Bitter laments
American butter is not like Irish butter
Scoffed at my enthusiasm
Now what right have you
The nerve and gall
Yer muther may be a wee bit
But yer not a'tall
Heavens no
Yer not Irish
