The French inspired restaurant will remain open, Wednesday to Sunday, through mid-October.

    Five years ago I had my first meeting with winemaker Alejandro Galaz, who produces dozens of wines from Chile. We focused on a couple of wines that he brought to lunch, a Pinot Noir and a Sauvignon Blanc. Both wines were special in 2014, as well, as in 2019. Galaz is known as a cold climate winemaker. The proof is the Kalfu 2017 Pinot Noir, as well as the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc.

    A major billing with two headliners, Train and the Goo Goo Dolls, played to an enthusiastic audience of many generations, dominated by women at Tanglewood on Monday evening. Both bands played enthusiastic seventeen song set lists, before the encore. Cannons, fireworks and bouncing balloons helped keep the crowd active throughout the evening.

Chris Thile, successor and host of 'Live From Here' made their second appearance at Koussevitzky Music Shed in Lenox, Massachusetts. The musical, comedic, live radio show on American Public Media radio stations featured Thile and his back-up band of musicians, a female trio, a comedian and a pianist-composer-singer from Hudson, New York.

    Its been one hundred years since the Franco family started in the Prosecco business. Who knew Prosecco existed so many years ago? The Prosecco varietal is now known as Glera, the new name of the grape. This way there is no confusion with the town of Prosecco and the DOC label attached to the wine. The Franco family have been pioneers of present day Prosecco, especially Primo Franco, who is known as the 'architect' of modern day Prosecco.
